AP EAMCET Counselling 2017 will start from the 8th June 2017. The AP EAMCET 2017 is a state level entrance test organized by JNTU Kakinada on the behalf of APSCHE to provide admissions to students in various undergraduate professional courses offered by different universities and institutions in Andhra Pradesh state.  The selected applicants who meet all of the eligibility criteria and successfully qualify the entrance examination will be called in for the AP EAMCET Counselling 2017 which will be held tentatively in the month of June 2017. AP EAMCET 2017 for candidates will be called based on the rank they have obtained.

AP EAMCET Counselling 2017 Procedure @apeamcet.nic.in

AP EAMCET counselling 2017 will be held tentatively on 8th June 2017 by the admission committee of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). The document verification at the help centres will be held from June 8 to June 17, 2017.  Selection and locking of the applicant’s preferred course and college will be done in online mode from June 11 to June 20, 2017. The applicants will have to report at the Help Line Centres for document verification after which they will be able to fill and select their preferred college and course. The counselling session procedure of AP EAMCET 2017 is present below for all of the applicants to check.

Step 1 – Verification of Documents

While filling AP EAMCET Application Form 2017, the applicants must have selected a Help Line Center (HLC). The applicants will have to report at the selected HLC for document verification.

According to the ranking of the applicants, they will be called in for the payment of the counselling processing fee.

After the documents are successfully verified, the computer operator will hand over the registration cum verification of documents. All of the information provided in the form is to be checked for the discrepancy.

The applicants will be provided with a printout of receipt of certificates.

Students are also provided with the second round of counseling which will be held for the candidates who failed to get during the first one round.

Certificates to be produced by PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Candidates

  1. PH-Certificate issued by District Medical Board.
  2. Candidates with 40% and above disability are only eligible.
  3. CAP- Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Board (In case of Ex-Service men) Identity card and Discharge book for verification.
  4. Candidates whose parents are domicile of Andhra Pradesh are only eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.
  5. NCC & Sports- To produce Original Certificates issued by the competent authorities.
  6. Minorities: SSC TC containing Minority status or Certificate from the Head Master.
  7. Anglo-Indian: A Certificate issued by Tahsildar of their place of Residence.

The applicants will have to register and create a new password before proceeding to fill their choices of colleges and courses.www.eamcet.nic.in is the official website for AP EAMCET Counselling 2017. The website needs to be accessed by all the AP EAMCET Counselling 2017 qualified candidates for web counselling.

Tuition Fee particulars and seats available under Convenor Quota College-wise will be made available on the website https://apeamcet.nic.in  before the commencement of Option Entry.The fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to the guidelines issued by the Government of AP from time to time.

Step 2 – Filling of Choices

The applicants will have to register themselves before selecting their options of college and course. The following steps will have to be used by the applicants to register themselves:

  • Click on the provided link to access the AP EAMCET Counselling 2017 portal (The link will be active as soon as it is released).
  • Select “Candidate Registration”
  • The registration number, Hall Ticket number, Rank, Date of Birth as mentioned in the verification certificate will have to be filled in by the applicants.
  • The applicants will have to generate a new password as per their choice and save it.
  • Log out and go back to the home page.

Next, the applicants will have to fill their preferred colleges and courses by logging in using the login ID number, Hall Ticket number, Password. Date of Birth and Captcha code. The OTP number sent to the registered number has to be entered after which the applicants will be able to display the institutes on-screen. Any number of options can be selected by the applicants. Verification of engineering colleges and course codes has to be done while filling the options.

PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED FOR EXERCISING OPTIONS ON WEB/INTERNET:

You can enter the options from home or from any internet café or from any Help Line Center with the help of your filled- in manual option form. For this you must have already completed certificate verification.

  1. Entering the URL through internet
  2. Generation of password
  3. Option entry
  4. Log out

STAGE 1: Entering the URL through internet

Double click on (Internet Explorer). Make sure that the computer which you are using contains windows operation system Internet Explorer Version 6.0 to 8.0. It is possible to enter options only from such systems having above versions. It is not possible to enter options on Net scape navigator, Google chrome, Mozilla Firefox. Please enter URL or Website address: http://apeamcet.nic.in or as indicated in the Notification you will find home page containing the links regarding the information such as counseling procedure, list of courses, list of help line centers, college profile, etc.

Intially Candidates Registration has to be done in which OTP will be sent to the Phone Number given in application form during Certificate Verification.

To get Login ID candidates can send SMS to 8790499899 as 
'APEAMCET(space)01(space)Your HTNo' after generating Password.
  

STAGE 2: Generation of Password

Enter the details (Note: Registration Number is printed on your Receipt of Certificate given to you after Certificate Verification. Date of birth shall be entered in DD/MM/YYYY format.

In the “Password” box enter the ‘password’ (having a minimum of 8 characters length and maximum of 10 with at least one Numeral/Character for example EAMCET12,krishna123, @#34BxMz56, 98765432H etc.) Re-enter the same password at “Re-enter password” box. Enter the mobile number and email id. These are optional. In case you forget the password mobile number/email id is compulsory to communicate the changed password.

Click on “Save Password” to save the password.

Click on “Log Out”. With this candidate’s registration is completed and you will come back to Home page. 

After Candidates Registration whenever you want to login the screen will appear as follows.

You can change your password as well as reset the password (in case forgotten) through Candidates login.

Importance of Password:

Password is important and shall be held confidentially. It is as important as the PIN of ATM card. Do not reveal it to anybody as it might enable modification/tampering of data. Password is essential for Candidates Login, Entry of options, Change of options, saving and deletion of options and for printing of allotment order. Click on “Candidates Registration” to generate the password.

STAGE 3: Option Entry

Note: You are advised not to start entering options directly on the web without preparatory work in the manual option form at home, as you may commit mistakes.

After completing the candidates registration and generation of password, click on Candidates Login for exercising the options

 Please do not give the Scratch Card containing Login ID. Number, password, date of birth, Hall Ticket Number etc to anybody. Never write your password down on paper or anything else which could be read by another person. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and are responsible for any harm resulting from your disclosure, or authorization of the disclosure of your password or from any person’s use of your password to gain access to your Login ID. You will be solely responsible and liable for any activity that occurs under your Login ID

 To enter your option entry screen, enter in Login ID. No (Hidden on the Scratch Card).,Hall Ticket No.,Password and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) and click on Sign In

 Read the instructions carefully. Read the Declaration and click on Check Box to confirm the same.

Click on “Option Entry Form” will navigate you to screen with check boxes with district names and statewide institutions.In case you need any explanation about different Menu items of the Option Entry form click on “Help Screen”. Read the explanation about various menu items, and then click the button “Click here to Enter Options”, it displays the screen with various districts along with check boxes. Select one or more districts or statewide institutions to display the Colleges in those districts along with State wide Institutions.

Click on Display Option Entry form” displays the screen for exercising the options. In the Screen different colours are used for display of University Colleges, Girl Colleges, and Minority institutions etc

Enter your EAMCET Hall ticket No. in the box provided.

By looking at already filled manual option form, enter the option numbers in the Boxes on the Screen against the College and course in which you are interested to join as shown above.

While filling the option form “Click on Save Options” at regular intervals.

Click on View and Print button helps you to see the saved options and take a print out of the same. You can change your password if you wish so by using Change password Menu Button

 STAGE 4: Logout

After completion of Option entry click on “Logout”, it displays an alert Message with three BUTTONS Save and Logout”, Confirm Logout and “Cancel Logout”.  Click on “Cancel Logout” retains the Options Entry Form for entry of some more options. Click on “Save & Logout” button will save the options exercised up to that point of time and display the details of the options exercised. Click on “Confirm Logout" button will directly display the details of the options saved up to that instant.After Filling the form will be shown as follows.Take a printout and keep it for future refernce.

You are informed that, you can add, modify or delete the options any number of times within in stipulated time by repeating the above mentioned four steps. The options recorded in the server on the last day will be frozen. If you wish to change the frozen options once again, approach any one of help line centers on any one of the dates mentioned to modify your frozen options. This is the final opportunity and after this no further changes can be done. The Options recorded in the server on the last day will betaken for allotment of seats. You can take a printout of the options exercised.

After the option entry and Logout from the Option entry form, close the browser

Step 3 – Freezing of Options and Modification

The applicants will be able to select as many options as possible. The selected choices can be modified by the applicants till the last date. After modifying their options, the applicants can successfully save the changes and log out.

Step 4 – Allotment of Seats

The admissions of AP EAMCET 2017 will be done based on the applicant’s merit, category, sex, local area, special reservation category and more. The list of the allotted applicants will be available in online mode and the applicants will be able to access it by logging into their account.

After the release of the allotment list, the applicants will have to download the Challan form for payment and pay the fees in one of the branches of Andhra Pradesh or Indian Bank in the state. A receipt will be provided to the applicants which will have to be brought by the applicants when reporting at the nearest HCL institute. In case the applicants are happy with their allotted seats, then he/she can report at their allotted institute otherwise they can participate in the next round of counselling if he/she has paid the fees and reported at the allotted institute.
Important Note:

1. Candidates are informed that where there is more than one Help Line Centre the ranks are distributed Help Line Centre wise, See the Annexure-I for Distribution of Ranks Help Line Centre wise and attend for Certificate Verification accordingly. ST candidates shall attend for Certificate Verification in the Help Line Centres marked with ** only, as per Annexure-II. The List of Help Line Centers, Distribution of ranks HLCs wise i.e., Annexure –I & II will be placed on website on 01-06-2017.

2. PH (Physically Handicapped), CAP (Children of Armed Personnel), Anglo-Indian, Sports & Games, NCC (National Cadet Cops) should attend the Certificate Verification only at Government Polytechnic, Near Benz Circle, Vijayawada, as per the dates given in the Schedule.

3. The candidates who secured 45% (For OC) and 40% (SC/ST/BC) in group subjects of Intermediate or its equivalent examination are only eligible for admission as prescribed by AICTE/Government of AP.

Fee to be Paid: (At the Time of Certificate Verification)

Processing Fee to be Paid:Processing Fee: Rs.1200/- (OC/BC), Rs.600/-(SC/ST). (online mode only)

1. Processing fee can be paid by the candidate using credit card or debit card or through net banking from 07.06.2017.

2. Visit https://apeamcet.nic.in and click on processing fee payment online.

3. Enter APEAMCET Hall Ticket number and rank and click on pay fee online.

4. The candidate will be directed to payment gateway.

5. Select any one mode of payment i.e credit card or debit card or net banking and enter credentials.

6. Once the payment is success click on print button and take a print out and produce at the time of verification of certificates.

7. Candidate shall note that he/she shall have paid the processing fee when candidate attends for certificate verification as per the schedule and ranks mentioned against each date. i.e the processing fee should be paid online by the candidate before he/she attends certificate verification.

8. In the event of transaction failure amount will be credited back into your account after two working days. Tuition Fee particulars and seats available under Convenor Quota College-wise will be made available on the website https://apeamcet.nic.in well before the commencement of Option Entry. The fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to the guidelines issued by the Government of AP from time to time.

AP EAMCET Counselling 2017 instructions

The candidate who is appearing for the certificate verification procedure is required to follow the below-mentioned steps.

  1. The candidate is first required to register them self for certificate verification process.

  2. The candidate must verify the details printed on registration cum verification for local area, sex, minority, category, special reservation category, date of birth, mobile number, fee reimbursement eligibility and all.

  3. The candidate is required to select any of the courses and colleges that are allotted based on priority.

  4. After completing the certificate verification process the candidate is required to enter the options on the website.

  5. Enter the URL for the official website through Internet.

  6. Then you need to wait for generation of the password.

  7. Then you need to enter the options.

  8. After that simply logout.

  9. The allotment process will be mentioned in the notification based on the merit and category, sex, local area, special reservation category and all. The candidate can download the allotment order through candidate login.

  10. The Candidates should go through the instructions which are placed on the website after the allotment of seat regardless of payment of fees, reporting at college, participating in subsequent phases of counseling.

At the end of Counselling still if you want to cancel/withdraw the alloted seat you can do so before a stipulated cut off date.Beyond this date the convenor will have no say on your admission and is discretion of the principal of the institution.

AP EAMCET 2017 Admission Procedure

The admission process will be the last stage of each exam. After the successful completion of the counselling, candidates have to report at the allotted college. Candidates must carry the allotment letter & all the original documents for verification & admission. In case, candidate will not report at the allotted college in a given time period, the seat will be given to another candidate.
