The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID),  is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. POWERGRID transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network. Its former subsidiary company, Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) handles power management for Power Grid. POWERGRID also operates a telecom business under the name POWERTEL. POWERGRID operates throughout India. Its transmission network consists of roughly 141,920 circuit kilometers and 224 EHVAC and HVDC substations, which provide total transformation capacity of 295,980 MVA. POWERGRID interregional capacity is 63,650 MW.

1. Deputy Manager (Electrical): 15 Posts
2. Sr. Engineer (Electrical): 25 Posts
3. Asst. Engineer (Electrical): 48 Posts

PGCIL Recruitment 2017 Age Limit:

Candidates upper age should be 37 years for Post 1, 36 years for Post 2, 30 years for Post 3 as on 21-12-2017 i.e. (Candidate should be born on or after 22-12-1978, 1981, 1987. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC(NCL) candidates as per rules.

PGCIL Recruitment 2017 Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical Discipline from a recognized University /Institute with 65% of marks or equivalent CGPA with relevant experience.

Candidates will be selected based on screening test & interview.
