SBI's market share was projected to increase to 22 percent from 17 per cent. It has 198 offices in 37 countries; 301 correspondents in 72 countries. The company is ranked 232nd on the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's biggest corporations as of 2016.

The SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2018 application process has commenced from 20th January 2018. Candidates are required to visit the official page of SBI to fill in the online application forms as the entire process to apply for SBI Clerk 2018 exam will be online. The application fee for SBI Exam is Rs. 600/- for General category and Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.
SBI authorities conducts recruitment process by inviting for preliminary exam, main exam and interview. Who got qualified in prelims exam will be promoted for mains exam. Candidates who qualified in both prelims and mains exam will be called for interview. Final decision will be taken merely together.
