Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET 2018) will be conducted on the behalf of APSCHE. It is a state level entrance exam which is conducted once in a year. Students can get admission in various professional courses in engineering, agriculture and pharmacy. Through this exam, students can get admission to many government and private institutions in the state. In this article, we have mentioned all relevant information of AP EAMCET 2018 such as exam dates, application form, eligibility, syllabus, etc.

AP EAMCET offers admission to various professional degree undergraduate program. Candidates who wish to apply for Engineering/Pharmacy/Agriculture courses have to appear for AP EAMCET. To apply for Pharmacy or Agriculture one has to appear for PCB subject group while for Engineering program, candidates can only appear for PCM group. AP EAMCET 2018 for PCB and PCM group is held at various pre-decided exam centers only. The other important highlights of the exam are tabulated below:

AP EAMCET Application Form 2018

The application form of AP EAMCET 2018 will be released in the second week of February, tentatively. Candidates will have to fill and submit the AP EAMCET 2018 application form in online mode along with prescribed application fees before the last date. If a candidate fails to submit the application form of AP EAMCET till the end date, then he or she will have to submit it with late fees.

How to Fill AP EAMCET Application Form 2018

  • Candidates will have to first access the AP EAMCET 2018 application form.

  • In order to fill the application form of AP EAMCET, candidates will have to pay the requisite fees first (fees is mentioned in the table given below)

  • For payment of fees, candidates will have to provide all the mandatory details as asked, like qualifying examination hall ticket number, name of the candidate, date of birth, personal mobile number, alternate mobile number, email ID, stream and fees amount will be generated automatically based on the stream selected by the candidate.

  • After filling all the necessary details, candidates will have to click on the “Initiate Payment” button and the control will automatically lead them to the bank payment gateway. The payment can be made using any bank debit or credit card, provided the card is a VISA or MASTERCARD or MAESTRO type.

AP EAMCET 2018 Exam Pattern 

  • The AP EAMCET 2018 language will be Telugu and English only
  • The students who want to appear for Urdu language exam, they can give it in Hyderabad only
  • The paper duration will be 3 hours
  • Paper is divided into three sections they are Maths, Chemistry and Physics
  • Total marks for examination paper is 160 that includes

Engineering
80 marks of Mathematics
40 for Chemistry
40 for Physics

Agriculture

40- Physics
40- Chemistry
40-Botany
40- Zoology

  • You will get 1 marks for each answer
  • While negative marking is not available in this examination
  • The format of question will be MCQ, which has only one correct answer

 

AP EAMCET 2018 Admit Card/ Hall Tickets

You need to keep the admit card carefully and keep at least two copies of it. You can get the copy of admit card from official website of AP EAMCET 2018. You need to submit the birth date and registration number. After filling all these details, you need to press the submit button shared below boxes, now after processing you will see your admit card, Just take the print out of it. On admission date, the candidates need’s to bring additional documents with admit card, Attested copy, photocopy and filled the application form.

The Exam Conducting Authorities will provide the hall ticket i.e. admit cards for 2018year in the 3rd week of April 2018.

AP EAMCET 2018 Syllabus

The syllabus for this examination is prepared on the basis of 11th and 12th standard syllabus. The EAMCET Syllabus consist of physics, mathematics, zoology, botany and chemistry. The question is asked to the students for understanding their individual’s subjects and academic knowledge.

How to Prepare for AP EAMCET Exam?

  • Firstly, to be successful you need to make an effective time management
  • Go through all the previous examination paper of AP EAMCET 2017, 2016, 2015 etc.
  • Accumulate all the information relevant for your syllabus i.e. study material
  • Don’t waste your time in covering the topics which are out of syllabus
  • You need to have more focus on mock test for increasing your accuracy and speed for the examination on time

APEAMCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Mentioned below is the AP EAMCET 2018 eligibility criteria as prescribed by the exam conducting authority, JNTU, Kakinada.

  • Candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria of AP EAMCET 2018 before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria of AP EAMCET 2018 contains certain defined parameters related to age, educational qualification and citizenship etc. 

  • The candidate is required to be an Indian national or must belong to Persons of India Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) (Card Holders) category to be eligible to apply for AP EAMCET 2018. 

  • Candidates must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/Telengana and satisfy their local and non-local status according to Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions order, 1974. 

  • Candidate must have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent to by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana OR

  • Candidates must have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent to by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

  • Candidate needs to have 16 years of age as on December 31, 2018, to be eligible for admission to B.Tech or B.E. However, there is no upper age limit for candidates.

  • For candidates of B.Tech for Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering and FS &T, the minimum age must be 17 years as on December 31, 2018. The upper age limit, in this case, is 22 years and for candidates belonging to SC, ST categories, it is 25 years.

Eligibility for Pharmacy and Engineering Courses:

Diploma Holder’s: The students who are diploma holders can apply for this examination in 2018 year

Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the exams where they need to get qualify for further studies

Qualifying Exam: Needs to pass in Intermediate or equivalent from any recognized board.

Appearing candidates: The students who are appearing for final year are also eligible for applying in the examination.

AP EAMCET Result 2018

The students who will appear for the examination will get the result from the official website. They will be ranked on the basis of marks obtained in the 2018 exams. The OMR Answer Sheets will be provided to the students till six months from the date of publication of results.

AP EAMCET Counselling 2018

For counseling, the students need to keep their online Application Form until the end of the admission process. While verification of the documents, they need to provide other documents and admit card to the desired authorities. The official website either the counseling portal will be providing the Information Booklet for AP EAMCET 2018 counseling.
