Instructions for Exam Day
- Candidates have to bring hall ticket along with filled application form with duly affixed colored photograph attested by the Gazetted Officer (or) Principal of the College (where candidates have studied the qualifying exam).
- Candidate’s signature & left hand thumb impression will be filled in the given space in the presence of invigilator only.
- Candidates should arrive at the examination hall before 2 hours of the examination.
- Don’t carry any textual material, DocuPen, mobile phone, calculators, log table, electronic watches, slide rules, bits of papers, printed or written material, pager or any other device.
AP EAMCET Syllabus 2018
Candidates planning to appear in the entrance exam conducted by JNTU Kakinada must follow the AP EAMCET 2018 syllabus to prepare for the exam. It is because AP EAMCET syllabus 2018 contain subject-wise topics from which questions will be set for the entrance exam. It is highly unlikely that questions will be asked outside the official syllabus of AP EAMCET 2018 released by the conducting institute. The AP EAMCET 2018 syllabus will cover all three subjects included in the exam -Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates must note that as per the AP EAMCET exam pattern 2018, Mathematics will carry the maximum weightage, equivalent to the combined weightage of Physics and Chemistry.

AP EAMCET Exam Pattern
AP EAMCET exam pattern 2018 provides details about the number of questions asked in the examination, marking scheme, duration, etc.
FOR ENGINEERING STREAM
AP EAMCET 2018 will be conducted on 22nd to 25th April 2018 (Engineering), 25th to 26th April 2018 (Agriculture) & 24th to 25th April 2018 (Both Streams). Check below the exam pattern of AP EAMCET 2018 for engineering stream:
- Course: It is conducted for Engineering course.
- Mode of Exam: The examination of AP EAMCET 2018 will be conducted in online mode (Computer Based).
- Session: The examination will be held in two sessions, i.e morning (10 AM to 1 PM) & afternoon (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM).
- Number of Questions: The question paper will consist of total 160 questions.
- Language: The question paper will be asked in English, Telugu & Urdu language only.
- Question Paper Type: Objective Type Questions. Four alternative options will be given for each question, candidates have to choose the right one.
- Subjects: The question paper contains the questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects.
- Duration: The exam duration will be three hours.
- Marking Scheme: One mark will be awarded for each correct response.
- Negative Marking: There will be no provision of negative marking for this exam.

FOR AGRICULTURE STREAM
The exam will be held in the last week of April 2018. AP EAMCET 2018 exam pattern for agriculture stream is given below:
- Course: It is conducted for Agriculture course.
- Session: The examination will be held in two sessions, i.e morning (10 AM to 1 PM) & afternoon (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM).
- Number of Questions: AP EAMCET question paper for agriculture programme will comprise of total 160 questions.
- Question Paper Type: Objective Type Questions.
- Language: The question paper will be asked in English, Urdu & Telugu language only.
- Subjects: The questions will arise from Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry subjects.
- Mode of Exam: The examination will be conducted in online mode (Computer Based).
- Duration: 3 hours.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will contain one mark.
- Negative Marking: No negative marking in the examination of AP EAMCET.

Guidance to Candidates
- Candidates should check their hall ticket carefully for name, gender, date of birth, test center name, date & time of exam, etc.
- Candidates have to show their hall ticket to enter in the examination hall.
- Candidates, who don’t possess the admit card will not be permitted to enter the examination center.
- After commencement of the examination, no candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall under any circumstances.
- For each candidate, a seat indicating admit card number will be allocated. Candidate has to find out & seated in their allotted seat only. If candidate found to have changed room or seat other than allotted, then their candidature will be cancelled.
- Candidates should ensure their question paper language, i.e. available on the computer in English & Telugu language only.
AP EAMCET Admit Card Details
The Admit card will be released by the exam conducting authorities in the 3rd week of April 2018. Students can access the admit card from the website. In the admit card, the exam details such as candidates name & roll number, exam center, exam date and time will be mentioned. It is compulsory for all the students to bring the admit card at the examination hall in order to appear for the exam. The following information will be present in the AP EAMCET Admit card 2018.
