AP TET 2018
The official notification for Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), 2018 to be announced in May 2018. The detailed notification for APTET will be released on May 4 and for District Selection Committee (DSC) teacher recruitment on July 6, 2018. The schedule of exam for APTET and DSC was released last week by the HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, in Visakhapatnam.

Total 10351 vacancies of teachers to be filled up in 2108 through the both recruitment process. The online application process and online fee submission will start from May 5 onwards. The mock tests for APTET will be conducted from May 25, 2018. The APTET exam is expected to be held in June 2018, and results are likely to be announced on June 30, 2018.
As per reports the AP District Selection Committee (DSC) Exam from this year will be organised by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) School Assistants, Language Pandit, Physical Education Teacher and secondary grade teachers are recruited through the AP DSC exam.
AP TET and AP DSC exams are conducted to recruit teachers for various educational government bodies of Andhra Pradesh government, aided schools and colleges and un-aided Private schools and colleges also accept TET score for teachers recruitment.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AP TET 2018:Qualifications For AP-TET Paper-I (Class I to V)
Applicants should have completed Intermediate/ Senior Secondary with minimum 50% of marks. For SC/STBC and differently abled candidates need only 45% of marks and have to possess 2 years diploma in Elementary Education/4- years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED)/2-years Diploma in education (Special Education).
Qualification For AP-TET paper-II (Classes VI to VIII)
Should have completed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with minimum 50% of marks. For SC/ST/BC and Differently abled candidates need minimum 45% of marks along with Bachelors of education (B. Ed) course/ Bachelor of Education (B. Ed- Special Education).
AGE LIMIT FOR AP TET 2018:
The age limit for the candidates to work in State Bank of India should be as follows
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
SELECTION PROCESS FOR AP TET 2018:
Aspirants who have applied for AP TET Notification 2017 will be selected based on the following steps,

- Open official notification and read the instruction clearly
- Then Click on to the “Apply online” link
- Fill all the details and upload all scanned documents
- Make payment through online mode
- Click on to the submit button and take printout of the application for future use.

AP TET 2018 Exam Pattern
The TET exam consist of two papers all are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each question carries one mark, with four alternatives out of which one Answer will be correct. TET Paper-I will be held for a candidates who are preparing to be a teacher for Classes I to V and Paper-II for the candidates who plans for Classes VI to VIII. Applicants who are planning to both have to appear for two papers. No negative marking for TET exam.

Validity period of TET Certificate / Marks Memo:
APTET Certificate / Marks Memo shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.
Weightage for APTET Scores in selection in District Selection Committee (DSC) Recruitments:
20% weightage will be given to APTET scores in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment of the State Government i.e., 20% weightage is for APTET score and 80% weightage for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (DSC/ TRT) for drawing up selection list.
AP TET Exam Centers
APTET 2017-18 exam will be conduct through online in 13 districts on the above mentioned dates. Candidates may give the preferential order of the centers. However, allotment of centers shall be the discretion of the department and request for change of test centers or sessions is not allowed under any situation.
