APPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2022: The A.P Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of candidates to various posts under Group IV Services. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the Commission at psc.ap.gov.in. A total of 06 vacant posts will be through this recruitment drive. The application can apply for the above posts on or before oct 19,2022.

APPSC Group 4 2022 – Vacancies

APPSC Group 4 Eligibility Criteria

Following is the APPSC Group 4 Eligibility Criteria that candidates should definitely possess.

• He/ She possesses the academic and other qualifications prescribed for the post: and
• He/ She is a citizen of India

Educational Qualfiications

1.Junior Assistant

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
• NOTE: – Must qualify in the test i.e, “Proficiency in Office Automation with the usage of computer and associated software”

2.Junior Assistant-Typist 3.Typist in Women Development and Child Welfare Department4.Typist in Sericulture Service

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
• ii) Must have passed the Govt. Technical Examination in Typewriting by the Higher Grade in Telugu on a Government Standard Key Board.
• iii) Provided that if persons with the qualification prescribed in item (ii) above are not available candidates who have passed the above examination in Typewriting by Lower Grade may if otherwise qualified be appointed.
• Provided further that candidates who possess Typewriting Qualification in English by Lower Grade besides the qualifications mentioned in items ii) and (iii) above shall be given preference for appointment by direct recruitment

5.Steno/ Typist

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
• Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by a Higher grade in the relevant language (Telugu or English) and Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in shorthand by a Higher grade in the relevant language (Telugu or English)

6.Junior Stenographer

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
• Must have passed the Govt., Technical Examination in typewriting by the Higher Grade in the relevant language (English or Telugu)
• The Govt., Technical Examination in shorthand by the higher grade in the relevant language. If however persons who have passed the examination on typewriting or shorthand by the higher grade are not available those who have passed the examination by the Lower Grade may be appointed

•  APPSC Group 4 Age Limit

• The age limits for recruitment are 18 years to 42 years. Candidates must fulfill the age criteria as of 1st July 2022.

• APPSC Group 4 Salary

• Candidates who got selected under group 4 posts will get a salary of Rs.25,220/- to 80,910/-

• APPSC Group 4 Selection Process

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Examination and Computer Proficiency Test.

• For Post Code 1, 2 – The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission will conduct the examination in objective type and district-wise Merit lists (General Ranking List) will be forwarded to District Collectors. Computer Proficiency Test in computer Automation to be conducted
• For Post Code 3, 4, 5 – Must qualify in the test i.e, proficiency in office Automation with the usage of computer-associated software

Application Fee

• Application Processing Fee – Applicant must pay Rs. 250/-
• Examination Fee – Rs.80/-
• However, the following categories of candidates are exempted from payment of
  examination fee Rs.80/-
  • SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men
  • Families are having household supply white cards issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P.
    Government.
  • Unemployed youth
• Candidates belonging to other States shall pay the prescribed fee of Rs.80/- along with a processing fee of Rs. 250/-
