GUJCET 2018 Result
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) declared the Gujarat Common Entrance Test(GUJCET) examinations results today, May 10, 2018. Over 1.35 lakh candidates had appeared for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) examinations at 34 centres across the state of Gujarat. Gujarat government had been conducting GUJCET for admissions to medical and paramedical courses till 2016. From 2017, the government has made GUJCET compulsory for students seeking admission in engineering colleges in the state.

After the announcement of the official results the GUJCET counseling will begin.GUJCET Counseling will like to begin from May 14 and to continue till June 6, 2018. The student has to confirm his/her ranking based on the merit list then has to confirm the counseling date from the official website.Then candidate need to fill his/her choice of course and centre before she/he wish to appear for GUJCET counseling, but based on its ranking he/she may get the course of his choice.

PASS PERCENTAGE FOR GUJARAT CLASS 12 SCIENCE BOARD EXAM
Overall , the pass percentage stands at 73 per cent for HSC Science. 71 per cent boys have passed the exams and 74.9 per cent girls have cleared the same.The district which has given the best performance is Rajkot. The pass percentage for English medium students is 75.78 per cent.
GUJCET 2018 Merit List
The board will be releasing the engineering counselling brochure after the GUJCET 2018 results have been successfully announced. The merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of their performance and scores in the GUJCET 2018 written examination. It will be prepared on the basis of the following factors:
The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the boards mentioned in the eligibility criteria above, the sum of sixty percentage weightage of the percentile marks obtained in the written examination (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and forty percentage of weightage of the percentile marks obtained in GUJCET 2018 exam.
In case the percentile marks are not available from any of the boards, two separate merit lists will be prepared:
- The first GUJCET 2018 merit list will include the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the recognized boards and for which, the percentile is available. The merit list will be prepared with 60% weightage of the percentile marks obtained in PCM, which will be combined with 40% of weightage of the percentile marks obtained in GUJCET 2018 exam.
- The second GUJCET 2018 merit list will be prepared which will include the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from a board for which the percentile marks are not available. The merit will be prepared based on the 60% weightage of marks obtained in PCM after covering it to 100 com bine with the 40% weightage of the percentile marks obtained in the GUJCET 2018 exam.

The criteria for deciding the GUJCET 2018 merit list in case of the candidates having equal scores will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying in the following sequences, namely:
- Maths and Physics
- Maths and chemistry
- Physics and Chemistry
- Chemistry English
- Aggregate marks

Step 3: In the new window, enter registration number/ roll number
Step 4: Results will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download it, and take a print out for further reference.
