The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the result of Company Secretaries (CS) foundation programme examination today, on February 21 (Wednesday). Candidates who had appeared for the same are required to check their respective results at the official website — icsi.edu. The computer-based exam was held in December last year.
As many as 395 candidates have made it to the merit list of Top 25 ranks. As of now, this list has the name of the candidates along with the release of results and does not have any subsequent changes.
As per an official notice by the ICSI, the results will be declared on Sunday, February 25, 2018. The results of the professional program will be live at 11:00 am while those of Executive program would be made available at 2 pm.
How to check the results for CS Foundation Programme December 2017:
Step 1: Go to the official website of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
Step 2: Click on the "Foundation Programme Exam Result December - 2017 Session" link given in the homepage
Step 3: Click on "Click here to view Result and Download E-Mark Sheet"
Step 4: On next page open, select the exam details and enter your role number, then click submit
Passing marks for CA Foundation course
A candidate will be declared to have passed the Foundation Programme examination if he/she has scored at one sitting a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each subject and 50 per cent marks in the aggregate of all the subjects put together.
Provided that a candidate who has appeared in all the subjects for which he/she was enrolled and has obtained 60 per cent marks or above in any subject, but failed, shall be declared to have passed in the subsequent examination, if he/she obtains a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each remaining subject and 50 per cent marks in the aggregate of the remaining subjects at one sitting within the next three following examinations.

SELECTION PROCESS:
In order to clear the exam, all the candidates need to score a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each paper, that is, Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3 and Paper-4 separately and have to score 50 per cent marks in aggregate of all papers.
