JEE Main Answer Key 2018
Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main offline exam can now download the question papers and answer keys of JEE Main 2018 here. Various leading coaching institutes like Resonance, FITJEE, Allen Kota, Sri Chaitanya, Aakash, etc. have released the JEE Main 2018 answer key. The answer key of JEE Main 2018 has been released for all four sets (Code A, B, C, D) of the question papers. Knowing the JEE Main answer key 2018 allows candidates to calculate their probable JEE Main scores. This can be done by comparing their responses to the correct answers given in the JEE Main 2018 answer key. CBSE will release the official JEE Main Answer Key on April 24, 2018.

The last date to check the JEE Main 2018 answer key will be April 27. Candidates who have appeared for the exam on April 8, 15 & 16, will be able to access JEE Main answer key 2018 of Paper 1 in online mode. The answer key of JEE Main 2018 for Paper 2 will, however, be released by CBSE online in May. Candidates who disagree with any of the answers given in JEE Main answer key can challenge the same before April 27 by submitting an application form and specified fees to CBSE along with proof of the same. The decision of CBSE will be final regarding the final answer key of JEE Main 2018.

How to use JEE Main Answer Key 2018 to calculate the scores?
Candidates have to use the answer key and check with their responses to know the number of correct answers and wrong ones they have given in the exam. The formula to calculate the JEE Main scores is as follows
Total marks obtained = Marks for correct answers (A) - Marks for wrong answers (B)
A = Number of correct answers x 4
B = Number of wrong answers x -1

How to Challenge JEE Main Answer Key 2018?
Once the official answer key of JEE Main 2018 is announced, candidates who have checked the answers and disagree with them must file an application with proof of their challenge before April 27, 2018. Candidates will also have to pay the requisite fee per question. This fee must be paid online as specified by CBSE. An expert committee will be looking into the challenges files and will give its decision on the same. The decision of CBSE/ JAB (Joint Admission Board) regarding the answer key will be considered final. The given steps can be followed to challenge JEE Main 2018 answer key.

JEE Main 2018 Cutoff
For admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, the candidates will be required to secure the minimum scores set by the admission authorities. Those candidates who meet the cutoff scores will likely be allotted seats in the institutes or may also advance forward for JEE Advanced 2018 examination. The cutoff scores will be released after JEE Main 2018 result is announced. The candidates can check the previous year cutoff of JEE Main to know the probable cutoff scores for the present session.
