The VI Convocation Of The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, Kakinada Is Scheduled To Be Held In The First Week Of January 2018 (Actual Date & Time Will Be Notified Later). The Candidates Who Are Qualified For The Award Of Degree (UG / PG / M.Phil / Ph.D) During The Academic Year 2015-16 (Passed Out On (Or) Before 31.12.2016 (Saturday)) & The Candidates Who Are Qualified For The Award Of Degree (UG / PG / M.Phil / Ph.D) During The Academic Year 2016-17 (Passed Out On (Or) Before 30.11.2017 (Thursday)) Are Hereby Informed To Apply Through Online On (Or) Before 16.12.2017 (Saturday). To Apply Original Degree (OD) Online & For Making The Payment, Click On The Link "Apply For Original Degree" In The University Website (www.jntuk.edu.in).
Note : No Need To Apply For The Convocation, If You Have Already Applied For The Original Degree During Pre - Convocation.
The Original Degree Certificates Of All The Bachelor Degree Programmes & Master Degree Programmes Will Be Sent To The Individuals To The Address Given In The Application Form By Registered / Speed Post. Gold Medal Recipients, M.Phil & Ph.D., Students Can Receive Their Degrees In Person On The Dais At The Convocation (Or) By Register Speed Post In Absentia.
The Gold Medal Recipients, M.Phil & Ph.D., Students Who Wish To Attend In Person To Receive Their Degrees Are Required To Submit Willingness Letter Available In The JNTUK Website (www.jntuk.edu.in) & Submit Hard Copy Of The Same Along With The Copy Of Provisional Certificate (PC) To The Directorate Of Evaluation, JNTUK, Kakinada On (Or) Before 16.12.2017 (Saturday) Positively In Person.
Note :
- Candidates Those Who Are Applying For The Original Degree (OD) Certificate Are Requested To Upload Their Educational Details (Like Provisional Certificate (PC), Consolidated Marks Memo (CMM), Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Passport Photograpgh) & Personal Details In Online Application After The Next Day Of Bank Payment After 12 : 00 P.M.
- Candidates Those Who Are Applying For The Provisional Certificate (PC) & Migration Certificate (MC) Are Requested To Upload Their Personal Details After One Week Of The Bank Payment. Candidates Are Requested To Upload Their Details Within 15 Days Of The Bank Payment. Applications Of Candidates Those Who Have Not Uploaded Their Details Within 15 Days Are Kept In Pending.
- Once Original Degree (OD) Certificate Is Printed, Your Details Are Removed From The Database. You Can Check The Status Of Your Original Degree (OD) Certificate From The Status Of Application Tab.
- Candidates Who Have Previously Uploaded / Submitted Their Details Online Without Aadhaar Card Can Upload Their Aadhaar Card Now By Logging In To Their Account From : JNTUK OD Website.

For Receiving The Original Degree (OD) Certificate From The University, Candidates Have To Follow The Below Mentioned Step By Step Procedure (Or) Instructions.
Please Read The Step By Step Instructions Carefully & Then Apply For VI Convocation - Original Degree (OD) Certificate :
Step I : This Application Is Meant Only For Those Candidates Who Are Passed Outs From JNT University Kakinada During The Years (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017) & Obtained Their Provisional Certificate (PC) & Consolidated Marks Memo (CMM) Certificates After 10.11.2017 (Friday). Only Those Candidates Are Eligible For Applying VI Convocation - Original Degree Certificates.
Step II : The Candidates Who Have Applied For Provisional Certificate (PC) After 10.11.2017 (Friday) & Have Been Issued Provisional Certificate (PC) Are Eligible To Apply For VI Convocation - Original Degree Certificate.
Step III : Amount Can Be Paid Either By Making Online Payment (Using Master / Visa - Credit / Debit (ATM) Cards) (Or) By Making The Payment At Any Branch Of SBI Using The Online Challan Generated By This Online Original Degree (OD) Application Form.
Step IV : List Of Scanned Documents That Are Required Before Applying For JNTUK Original Degree (OD) Online :
Document I : Bank Payment Form (Or) Bank Challan Form Which Contains Hall Ticket Number, Bank Payment Reference Number (DU Number) & Contact Number Given During Bank Payment.
Document II : Secondary School Certificate (SSC) – (In PDF Format With Size Between 50 KB To 300 KB).
Document III : Provisional Certificate (PC) Obtained From The University - (In PDF Format With Size Between 50 KB To 300 KB).
(Please Verify Whether Student’s Name & Student Father’s Name Printed On The Provisional Certificate (PC) Are As Per Secondary Schoool Certificate (SSC) (Or) Not. If Any Mistake Found, Please Immediately Apply For Name Correction At JNTUK, Kakinada Examination Section / Change The Provisional Certificate (PC) In University & Then Apply)

Document IV : Consolidated Marks Memo (CMM) (For B.Tech / B.Pharmacy Courses Only) Obtained From The University - (In PDF Format With Size Between 50 KB To 300 KB).
Document V : All Semesters Mark Memos For All P.G Courses – (In PDF / Zip / RAR With Size Less Than 500 KB).
Document VI : Aadhaar Card Xerox / Scanned Copy - (In PDF Format With Size Between 50 KB To 300 KB).
Document VII : Recent Passport Size Colour Photograph - (In JPG / JPEG Format With Size Less Than 200 KB).
Step V : Passport Size Photograph Directions :
- Photograph Must Be A Recent Passport Style Colour Picture.
- Please Do Not Upload Selfie Photographs & Make Sure That The Picture Is In Colour, Taken Against A Light Coloured Preferably White Background.
- Look Straight At The Camera With A Relaxed Face. If The Picture Is Taken On A Sunny Day, Have The Sun Behind You (Or) Place Yourself In The Shade, So That You Are Not Squinting & There Are No Harsh Shadows If You Wear Glasses Make Sure That There Are No Reflections & Your Eyes Can Be Clearly Seen.
- Caps, Hats & Dark Glasses Are Not Acceptable.
- Religious Headwear Is Allowed But It Must Not Cover Your Face.
- Dimensions - 456 X 568 Pixels (Preferred) & Size Of File Should Be Between 80 - 100 KB.
- The Passport Size Photograph Must Be Saved (Or) Named With Your Hall Ticket Number (For Example : 106K1A0123.jpg) Before Uploading.
- The Image Must Be Saved In JPG / JPEG Format.
Step VI : Candidate Have To Upload Their Educational Details (Like Provisional Certificate (PC), Consolidated Marks Memo (CMM), Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Passport Photograpgh) & Personal Details In Online Application After The Next Day Of Bank Payment After 12 : 00 P.M.
Step VII : After Successful Completion Of Filling The Application Online, The Application Will Be Given A Unique Application Number. Quote This Application Number & Maintain The Generated Application Form For Further Correspondences.
Step VIII : All The Scanned Copies Should Be Clear (If They Are Not Clear, Application Will Be Kept In Hold).
Step IX : The Scanned Copies (Like SSC, PC, CMM, Photograph & E.T.C.,) Should Be Uploaded Within One Week Of Bank Payment
Step X : If You Fail To Fulfill Any Of The Requirements Stipulated Above, The Original Degree (OD) Application Will Not Be Processed.
Step XI : The Original Degree (OD) Certificate Will Be Posted To The Address Furnished By The Student & Hence Complete Information (Complete House Address, Mobile Numbers & Email I.D’s E.T.C.,) Need To Be Provided.
Note : The Original Degree (OD) Certificate Will Be Made Ready Within 45 Days Of Time After Submission & Will Be Sent To The Given Address.

Academic Rules To Obtain Original Degree (OD) :
R10 Academic Regulation : Registered For 208 Credits & Secured 200 Credits With Compulsory Subjects : Compulsory Subjects Are : All Laboratories & Project Work, I.E. The Student Shall Pass All Laboratory Examinations & Project Work. Students Who Fail To Complete Their Four Years Course Of Study Within Eight Years (Or) Fail To Acquire The 200 Credits For The Award Of The Degree Within Ten Academic Years From The Year Of Their Admission, Shall Forfeit Their Seat In B. Tech Course & Their Admission Shall Stand Cancelled.
R10 Lateral Entry Academic Regulation : Registered For 164 Credits & Secured 156 Credits With Compulsory Subjects : Compulsory Subjects Are : All Laboratories & Project Work, I.E. The Student Shall Pass All Laboratory Examinations & Project Work. Students Who Fail To Complete Their Four Years Course Of Study Within Eight Years (Or) Fail To Acquire The 156 Credits For The Award Of The Degree Within Ten Academic Years From The Year Of Their Admission, Shall Forfeit Their Seat In B. Tech Course & Their Admission Shall Stand Cancelled.
A Student Can Be Awarded Degree For 200 Credits By Exempting Any 2 (Or) 4 Subjects Of 2 (Or) 4 Credits Each From I Year To IV Year Of Odd & Even Semesters (Excluding Laboratory & Project Work).
