Educational Qualification As On 31.05.2019: Details of Educational Qualification Required for Each Post are given below. Candidates need minimum 65 % Marks (SC / ST : 55%) in relevant degree as per details below:
- Management Trainees (Engineering): B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Mining Engineering / Computer Science Engineering or Relevant Engineering disciplines of these branches as per details below are eligible.
- Management Trainees (HR): PG Degree/ PG Diploma/ MBA/ MSW/ MA with specialization in HRM/ Personnel Management/ IR/ Labour Management/ Organizational Development/ HRD/ Labour Welfare or equivalent (2 years Duration).
- Management Trainees (Marketing): MBA / PGDM/ PGDBM or equivalent (02 years duration) in Marketing
- Management Trainees (Corporate Communication): PG Degree/ PG Diploma in journalism & Communication/ Journalism & Mass Communication/ Communication/ Journalism/ Mass Communication/ Broadcast Journalism/ Media Communication/ Public Relations or equivalent (2 years duration).
Equivalent engineering qualifications for Management Trainee (Engineering):
Age Limit: Maximum Age Limited is 28 Years As On 31.05.2019
As per government Guidelines 3 years age relaxation for OBC & 5 Years for SC / ST will be given
Selection Process: The selection for Management Trainees (Engineering & Non Engineering) in MECON Limited 2018 shall be on all India basis and shall comprise of Written Test and Interview. The weightage of written test and personal interview shall be 80: 20. The candidates to appear for the interview shall be shortlisted in order of merit based on the eligibility criteria as per the advertisement and their performance in the Written Test and as per the reservation & relaxation guidelines of Government of India. The final selection shall be as per the merit list taking into consideration marks obtained in Written Test and Interview together and the reservation & relaxation guidelines of Government of India.
Application Fees: Candidates are required to make a payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. One thousand only) as Application Fee through Online mode. Candidates belonging to SC / ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) and Ex-servicemen category are exempted from payment of fee.
