The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will also release the official NEET answer key 2018 in online mode before the result is announced. The official answer key of NEET 2018, conducted on May 6, 2018, will be released tentatively in the last week of May 2018. The link to the official NEET answer key 2018 will be made available here as soon as it is released by CBSE. Only the answers as displayed on the official answer key of NEET 2018, will be considered for the calculation of final result. How to Calculate NEET Scores by using NEET 2018 Answer Key

Candidates should have a good understanding of marking scheme to calculate NEET score. The examination is of 720 marks. For each correct response, the board will give 4 marks to the candidate. For each incorrect answer, one mark deducted of the candidate. Check below for marking scheme:

NEET Score = (Total number of Correct answers x 4) – (Total number of Incorrect answers x -1)

How to Download the Answer Key

Candidates just follow given the process to get NEET Answer Key 2018:

• Open the official website link.
• Click on that link.
• A new web page will be displayed on the screen.
• Now, click on “Answer Key” link given in the Downloads section.
• It will appear on the computer screen in a pdf format.
• Download it for further use.
• Take a print out copy of it to compare your answers.

How to Challenge the Answer Key

The board will provide a facility to challenge the answer key. In case, candidates found any mistake in it, they can challenge it by paying challenge fee. Candidates, those willing to challenge the OMR Answer Sheet, Responses & Answer Key, they have to pay Rs. 1000 as per question/response. Candidates will challenge the scanned Images of OMR Sheet & Answer Keys through candidate login by using their user ID (Registration No.) & Password. The fee is refunded to the candidate if their challenge are accepted by the board. Remember that the challenge will not be accepted after the due date.

• Go to the official site.
• Click on given link.
• The website page will appear on the computer screen.
• Now, click on “Candidate Login” link.
• Fill your “Registration Number” & “Password”.
• Then, click on “Login” button.
• Now, Click on “Answer Key Challenge” & select answer booklet code.
• Select question for a challenge & then click on submit button.
• Select your answer & given comments /justifications for the answer.
• Then, click on “Confirm” tab & pay fee for challenging answer key.
• Pay fee by using a debit/credit card.
• Take a print copy of Confirmation Slip for further references.
