The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) has declared the Class 12 or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam results on April 23, 2018. The students can check their results on the official PSEB website, The overall pass percentage for the PSEB 2018 Class 12 Exam is 65.97%; out of the 300,417 students who took the exam, 198,199 passed. This is an improvement from the PSEB 2017 exam results, where the pass percentage was 62.36%. Girls have outshined boys once again this year.

The girls have been outshining the boys in the PSEB Class 12th Result. This shows their level of dedication and emphasis of the government on female education.

In 2017, a total of 3,14,815 students had appeared for the intermediate board exam. The total pass percentage was 62.36% for students pursuing education through regular mode and open mode. Once again the girls surpassed the boys and secured the pass percentage of 72.59% while 54.42% of the boys were successful. Amisha topped by securing 98.44% marks while Prabhjot came second with 98.22 %. Ria from Gurdaspur district got 98% marks and stood third.

1) Visit the official website of the board -

2) Click on the link for results on the top

3) Enter your name or roll number and click on find results

4) Your result will be displayed on screen

5) Download it or take a print out for further reference

Important Points

  • Students are advised to must check the name, roll number, date of birth, parent’s name and marks in the downloaded result.
  • The students can get their results either by entering the roll number or by the name.
  • The result will display the student’s marks in theory as well as practical subjects, grade points, pass/fail status, maximum marks, percentage/division and total marks obtained.
  • The Board will conduct the supplementary exams in the month of June and releases the results on July 2018.
  • The students can also send the request for re-correction of exam papers if they are not satisfied with the obtained marks and expected more.
