The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is a security force of India entrusted with protecting railway passengers, passenger area and railway property of the Indian Railways .This is the only central armed police force (CAPF) which has the power to arrest, investigate and prosecute criminals. The force is under the authority of Ministry of Railways (India). The strength of RPF is about 65,000. As on 1.1.2014, sanctioned strength of Group 'A' officers in RPF is 441 including 127 officers recruited through Civil Services Examination of UPSC. RPF is headed by the Director General (DG).Mr Dharmendra Kumar was appointed as DG, RPF on 21/08/2017 He succeeded S K Bhagat, who superannuated on 20 February 2016. Since superannuation of Mr R.R. Verma, senior most RPF officer viz. Mr P.S. Rawal had been looking after the duties of DG.

Steps to Apply For RPF Recruitment 2018

First of all, the applicants must go through the registration process. Through the registration process, they will get a registration number or application number.

   3. In the section, all the recruitment post details are displayed.
   4. Click on the Latest RPF Constable Recruitment Notification that you want to apply for.
   5. Go through the official notification and read the instructions carefully before applying.
   6. Then on the link provided, click and download the RPF Constable Application form (RPSF 19952)
   7. Fill in all the required details as per the educational documents that you need to attach with the application form.
   8. Attach all the relevant documents that are mentioned in the Official notification like the Caste certificate, Income Certificate, and Educational Memo.
   9. Attach a recent passport size photograph in the prescribed size as mentioned in the notification.
   10. Recheck and make sure that all the information filled are correct.
   11. Attach a Post Office or Bank Challan along with the application form.
   12. Finally, Enclose the application form along with the attachment made in an envelope which must be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE IN RPF INCLUDING RPSF” and should be sent to the following address mentioned below through the normal post.
