Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is the premier commission of the government of Rajasthan, for organizing recruitment exams, procedures for recruiting employees, officers to various departments of the government. This includes the recruitment of Clerical cadre in minimum and the recruitment in Rajasthan Administrative Service (R.A.S) & Rajasthan Police Service (R.P.S)in maximum extent. The recruitment to RAS, RPS, RTS and Rajasthan Sub-ordinate Services is made through an exam RAS/RTS Competitive Exam organized by the RPSC. RPSC RAS/RTS Recruitment 2018 - Age Limit

The age of applicants must be between 21 to 40 years as on 1^st January 2018. Age relaxation is given according to the given table

RPSC RAS/RTS Recruitment 2018 - Application Fee

All the general category candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- as their application fee. SC/ST and other reserved categories candidates have to pay little less than general candidates. Further fee-structure is explained below:

All the interested candidates have to make payment through either online or offline mode. To pay fee offline, a candidate has to submit the required application fee at any e-mitra/ CSC centre. Names and addresses of the same can be obtained through a list available on Commission’s official website.

RPSC RAS/RTS Recruitment 2018 - Educational Qualification

Candidates who wants to fill up RPSC RAS 2018 Online Form must hold Graduation Degree. The degree must be affiliated from any govt. recognized institute or university. Applicants who are appearing in the Final Year Examination or Will Appear may also apply for RPSC RAS Bharti 2018.

RPSC RAS/RTS Recruitment 2018 - Selection Process

The Selection of the candidates will be made based on various recruitment phases. Aspirants have to undergo various selection rounds i.e. Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Personal Interview and Medical Test.

• Preliminary Examination: It consists of the General knowledge/General Science, the question asked in this will be objective type question, total maximum 200 marks, and total duration is 3 hours for completion.
• Main Examination: It consists of four subjects: General knowledge-1, General knowledge-2, General knowledge-3, General Hindi, and English. Each subject carries 200 marks, so total marks are 800 marks.
• Personal Interview: Candidates who successfully qualified in the written exam than are sent for an interview, which will carry 100 marks.

Prelims Exam Pattern

• RPSC RAS Exam will be conducted in two stages prelims and mains.
• The Prelims Paper consists of objective type MCQ questions.
• Negative marking of 1/3 for each wrong answer.
• Exam duration will be 180 minutes
• Total marks for the Prelims Exam is 200.

Mains Exam Pattern

• RAS Mains Exam will be descriptive type
• Mains Papers will have 4 papers in the exam
• Total marks for each paper is 200 marks.
• For each paper, the exam duration is 180 minutes.
