TS EAMCET Result 2018

JNTU, Hyderabad will publish TS EAMCET 2018 result in online mode tentatively in the 4th week of May. Candidates can check the TS EAMCET result 2018 by logging in through their registration and hall ticket number. No hard copies of TS EAMCET 2018 result will be sent to the candidate. Candidates need to download the result of TS EAMCET 2018 which will be available in the form of a rank card. The rank card will contain all the details regarding the overall rank obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. The candidate needs take printouts of TS EAMCET result/ rank card 2018, as the document will be required at the time of document verification. Based on the TS EAMCET 2018 result, a merit list will be drawn and candidates will be called for TS EAMCET counselling. Candidates who are placed higher on the merit list will be given preference during seat allotment. 

The result will be announced on 18th May 2018. The written test was conducted from 2nd to 7th May 2018. The answer key has been released by the university through online mode. The university will publish the final answer key along with the OMR answer sheet in the May 2018. The rank card will also be released by the university in the May 2018. The counselling procedure will be started from 25th May 2018 (Tentative). 

TS EAMCET 2018 Qualifying Marks

To qualify in the TS EAMCET exam, candidates must score a minimum of 25% of the maximum marks. Only such candidates, who have qualified, will be considered for the ranking and will be able to download the rank card. The rank is calculated based on 75% EAMCET marks and 25% boards result.

JNTU will release the rank card after the declaration of TS EAMCET results, tentatively in the last week of May. To download the TS EAMCET 2018 rank card candidate need to enter:

Important points related to TS EAMCET Result/Rank card 2018

• Candidates need to produce the TS EAMCET 2018 result/ rank card at the time of document verification.

• The rank card of TS EAMCET will be available in online mode only, and no physical copies will be sent to the candidate.

• Candidates will be ranked on the order of merit.

• The TS EAMCET rank card/result 2018 will be valid for admission to B.Tech courses for the session 2018-19 only.

• If a candidate obtains a rank by improper means, for example by falsely claiming to belong to a particular category (SC, ST, etc), the candidate would be disqualified from the admission process.

• During ranking, 75% weightage will be given to TS EAMCET 2018 normalized marks and 25% weightage will be given to 10+2th standard scores.

• Click on the ‘TS EAMCET 2018 Result’ link.
• Enter the ‘Registration No.’ and ‘Hall Ticket No.’.
• Type the code and click on ‘Submit’ button.
• The result will be generated in pdf format.
• Download the generated result and print it.
• Take extra printouts of it and secure till admission process.

How is TS EAMCET Result 2018 Computed?

• While computing the TS EAMCET 2018 result, the exam conducting authority will consider the candidate who will secure the qualifying marks in TS EAMCET 2018. However, candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, will be assigned ranking in the order of merit.

• The merit will be prepared on the basis of the combined score where 75% weightage will be given to the marks secured in the entrance exam and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

• Candidate should be aware that every correct answer will gain 1 one and there is no negative marking for incorrect answer. 

What after TS EAMCET Result 2018?

After the declaration of result of TS EAMCET 2018, the examination authority will release the cutoff and will prepare the merit list. All the qualified candidates will be called for TS EAMCET 2018 counselling based on the merit list. Therefore, it is important for the candidates to secure marks within the closing rank. 

TS EAMCET 2018 cutoff

• The JNTU will declare the cutoff of TS EAMCET 2018 for all the candidates who will appear for the entrance exam after the TS EAMCET result is published.

• TS EAMCET cutoff 2018 will enable candidates to get the admission across the participating institutes of TS EAMCET.

• The TS EAMCET 2018 cutoff is the closing rank at which admission to B.Tech programmes at a particular institute is closed. Therefore, it is important for the candidates to secure the closing rank to get the admission in the TS EAMCET 2018 participating institutes.

• While preparing the TS EAMCET 2018 cutoff, various factors like the number of seats offered,  applicants, previous cutoff trends to name few will be taken into consideration.

• The minimum qualifying marks for TS EAMCET 2018 is 25% of the maximum marks. There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST candidates.

TS EAMCET 2018 Counselling

Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling based on the TS EAMCET 2018 results. Candidates who are ranked higher on the merit list will be called first for TS EAMCET counselling, which is expected to be held in offline mode in June. While allocating seats, along with the rank of the candidate, the choices filled by the candidate will be considered. Candidates who are offered seats will be notified through SMS on their registered mobile numbers.
